Lowest weight representations of super Schrodinger algebras in low dimensional spacetime

We investigate the lowest weight representations of the super Schrodinger algebras introduced by Duval and Horvathy. This is done by the same procedure as the semisimple Lie algebras. Namely, all singular vectors within the Verma modules are constructed explicitly then irreducibility of the associated quotient modules is studied again by the use of singular vectors. We present the classification of irreducible Verma modules for the super Schrodinger algebras in (1+1) and (2+1) dimensional spacetime with N = 1, 2 extensions.Comment: 10pages, talk given at GROUP28 conference New Castle 26-30th July 2010, reference adde

Quasi-Elastic d(p,n)2pd(\vec{p},\vec{n})2p Reaction and Spin Response Functions of the Deuteron

We calculated response functions of the deuteron for charge exchange processes, including the final state interaction between two protons. Using them we evaluated the double differential cross section and polarization observables of d(p,n)2pd(\vec{p},\vec{n})2p by means of plane wave impulse approximation with an optimal factorization. Calculation well reproduced the shape of the energy spectra of the cross section, though somewhat overestimated the magnitude. It also reproduced the spin observables well.Comment: 19 pages of LaTeX (4 figures not included, hard copy available upon request), UT-Komaba 93-2

Neuro-flow Dynamics and the Learning Processes

A new description of the neural activity is introduced by the neuro-flow dynamics and the extended Hebb rule. The remarkable characteristics of the neuro-flow dynamics, such as the primacy and the recency effect during awakeness or sleep, are pointed out.Comment: 8 pages ,10 Postscript figures, LaTeX file, to appear in Chaos, Solitons and Fractal

Generalized Arcsine Law and Stable Law in an Infinite Measure Dynamical System

Limit theorems for the time average of some observation functions in an infinite measure dynamical system are studied. It is known that intermittent phenomena, such as the Rayleigh-Benard convection and Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction, are described by infinite measure dynamical systems. We show that the time average of the observation function which is not the L1(m)L^1(m) function, whose average with respect to the invariant measure mm is finite, converges to the generalized arcsine distribution. This result leads to the novel view that the correlation function is intrinsically random and does not decay. Moreover, it is also numerically shown that the time average of the observation function converges to the stable distribution when the observation function has the infinite mean.Comment: 8 pages, 8 figure

Combining Text and Formula Queries in Math Information Retrieval: Evaluation of Query Results Merging Strategies

Specific to Math Information Retrieval is combining text with mathematical formulae both in documents and in queries. Rigorous evaluation of query expansion and merging strategies combining math and standard textual keyword terms in a query are given. It is shown that techniques similar to those known from textual query processing may be applied in math information retrieval as well, and lead to a cutting edge performance. Striping and merging partial results from subqueries is one technique that improves results measured by information retrieval evaluation metrics like Bpref

Lowest Weight Representations of Super Schrodinger Algebras in One Dimensional Space

Lowest weight modules, in particular, Verma modules over the N = 1,2 super Schrodinger algebras in (1+1) dimensional spacetime are investigated. The reducibility of the Verma modules is analyzed via explicitly constructed singular vectors. The classification of the irreducible lowest weight modules is given for both massive and massless representations. A vector field realization of the N = 1, 2 super Schrodinger algebras is also presented.Comment: 19 pages, no figur

    Coupled Oscillators with Chemotaxis

A simple coupled oscillator system with chemotaxis is introduced to study morphogenesis of cellular slime molds. The model successfuly explains the migration of pseudoplasmodium which has been experimentally predicted to be lead by cells with higher intrinsic frequencies. Results obtained predict that its velocity attains its maximum value in the interface region between total locking and partial locking and also suggest possible roles played by partial synchrony during multicellular development.Comment: 4 pages, 5 figures, latex using jpsj.sty and epsf.sty, to appear in J.
